SIENAVE is pleased to present a new venture, this time looking at the use of stone for the home and contract furniture market. For this project, SIENAVE has collaborated with the designer Michael Sodeau.
Sienave and Michael Sodeau started working together in 2009 when Sodeau commissioned Sienave to produce a table for the furniture package he had designed for the Martinhal Resort in the Algarve.
From this initial contact and visit to the Sienave factory and |

quarry a relationship formed. Sodeau and Sienave found they had similar views of design and materials and this common vision would see them combine to develop a collection of furniture and objects with stone.
It is the ‘+’ that is the key to their project together. The addition of other natural materials combined with stone to create a diverse range of functional products. The project was born in the spring of 2010 under the title ‘+Stone’. |
